Charlotte, N.C., June 23, 2015—GUNK® and LIQUID WRENCH® are headed to Crandon, Wisconsin, with Arie Luyendyk Racing for the TORC Series “Big House Brawl” at Crandon International Off-Road Raceway, June 27-28. GUNK sponsored driver Arie Luyendyk Jr. will be at the wheel of the #25 Pro 2 truck, while LIQUID WRENCH sponsored Cam Reimers wheels the #21 Pro Light truck for the first of two TORC race weekends in Crandon this season. The series finale is scheduled for Sept. 5-6.

After bringing home the Off-Road Truck Racing bronze medal at X Games in Austin earlier this month, Luyendyk, in his second year driving the #25 GUNK® truck, battled back to finish fourth in Round 6 in Chicago, following mechanical issues in Round 5.

“Chicago was a trying event for Arie Luyendyk Racing; Thursday we had to pull off at half distance and Friday we crossed the finish on fire,” said Luyendyk. “We bounced back, but unfortunately just missed the podium. We need to address some reliability issues before this weekend in Crandon.”

Reimers, in his first year with ALR driving the #21 LIQUID WRENCH® Pro Light, had two third place podium finishes in St. Louis before heading to Chicago. Reimers qualified on pole for both races, but mechanical issues and a collision prevented him from completing either race. Reimers is eager to move past Chicago and get back on the track in Crandon.

“We were plagued by some of the strangest mechanical problems in both events. We were, however, able to lead a few laps and show people that this LIQUID WRENCH® team is here to stay,” said Reimers. “I’m looking forward to getting the #21 back up front—where it should be.”

“Crandon is a unique venue and always creates an exciting atmosphere for the thousands of fans who attend,” said Marshal Livingstone, Director of Marketing and Consumer Insights at RSC Chemical Solutions. “We are excited to be back and are looking forward to great finishes from both of our teams.”

Luyendyk and Reimers are currently sixth and fifth respectively in the TORC Championship standings following Rounds 5 and 6 in Chicago.

GUNK and LIQUID WRENCH are also TORC series sponsors.
